How to Use the Dynasty Trade Calculator
Choose your league format. Pick Superflex if your league lets you start two quarterbacks, or 1QB if it doesn't.
Add players and picks. Under “Team A Gets,” add everything Team A receives. Under “Team B Gets,” add everything Team B receives.
Read the result. If both sides are within 5% of each other, the trade is fair. If not, the calculator shows who wins, by how much, and suggests players or picks the other side could add to balance it.
How Our Trade Values Work
Player values are based on real dynasty trades and market data, with separate numbers for every league size (10, 12 or 14 teams), scoring format (standard, half PPR or full PPR) and Superflex or 1QB.
Pick values are built from rookie pick rankings and matched to the same value scale as players, so you can compare picks and players directly.
Values update every day, so the calculator follows the market as players get hurt, change teams or break out.
Why two players don't add up to one star
Starting lineups have limited spots, so one elite player usually helps a team more than two average ones. The calculator gives extra weight to higher-value assets.
For example, two players worth 5,000 each count as about 8,700, not 10,000. This is why the “before star adjustment” total can be higher than the adjusted total.
Superflex vs 1QB Values
In a 1QB league, each team starts one quarterback. In a Superflex league, a second quarterback can fill the flex spot, and since quarterbacks usually score the most points, almost every team starts two.
That makes quarterbacks much scarcer and much more valuable. For example, Josh Allen is worth 10,874 in Superflex but 5,569 in 1QB. Always pick the right format with the toggle before judging a trade.

Dynasty Trade Calculator FAQ
What is a dynasty trade calculator?
It's a tool that compares both sides of a fantasy football trade using player and draft pick values. In dynasty leagues you keep players for years, so the values consider age and long-term outlook, not just this season.
How do I know if a dynasty trade is fair?
Add both sides to the calculator. If the totals are within 5% of each other, the trade is fair. Also think about your team: a contender can accept a small value loss for a player who helps now, while a rebuilding team should lean toward younger players and picks.
How are trade grades calculated?
Each team gets a letter grade based on how far apart the two sides are. Within 5% is a fair trade, and both teams get an A. The bigger the gap, the lower the grade for the team giving up more value.
Where do the values come from?
Player values are based on real dynasty trades and market data, with separate numbers for every league size (10, 12 or 14 teams), scoring format (standard, half PPR or full PPR) and Superflex or 1QB. Pick values are built from rookie pick rankings and matched to the same value scale as players, so you can compare picks and players directly.
How often are values updated?
Every day. The date of the latest update is shown at the bottom of every page.
How much is a first-round rookie pick worth?
It depends on the slot. Right now the 2027 Pick 1.01 is worth 6,584 in Superflex and 4,516 in 1QB, and later first-round picks are worth less. See every pick on our Draft Pick Values page.
Why is my two-for-one trade worth less than the total?
The calculator gives extra weight to star players, because one elite player usually helps more than two average ones. So two players worth 5,000 each count as about 8,700, not 10,000.
Does it work for my league settings?
Yes. Choose your league size (10, 12 or 14 teams), scoring (standard, half PPR or full PPR) and Superflex or 1QB, and the values update to match. TE premium isn't adjusted for yet.
Should I accept a trade the calculator says I lose?
Not always. The calculator measures market value, not your team's needs. If a trade fills a hole in your starting lineup and you're competing for a title, losing a little value can be worth it.
